Commercial level system. Nice app too.
Been using cheaper systems for many years but the hard drives kept failing. So we went with this more expensive system because of good reviews and the 2 year warranty. It’s been installed for several weeks now and seems to work great. I like the flexibility with reolink cameras too. NVR PoE cameras are easy to install and have excellent clarity. And Reolink has almost every kind of camera you could ever want. System comes with cat5 cable which is old and not used anymore. So I also purchased and used cat6 cables so I wouldn’t have to run cables again if this system ever fails. But so far, we are very satisfied.

Excellent image quality – plug and play installation – tons of customization options
This is an outstanding system. Simple install – just run ethernet cable and the system will automatically recognize the cameras the moment you plug them in. 12MB video quality is outstanding, particularly when viewed on a 4K monitor. Very intuitive interface such that I found myself customizing the system without having to refer to a manual. I especially like the ability to adjust the sensitivity of the camera alert system, as well as having the motion sensitive flood lighting and alarm – which you can customize to only go off on certain cameras and at certain times of the day. The wired mouse that comes with the system is not the highest quality, but I simply replaced it with a wireless PC mouse I had sitting around the house and it works flawlessly. The phone app works well and I had no difficulty setting it up or pairing it with the system. It allows me to view the video streams remotely, or for that matter, listen or speak to someone via the cameras. An all-around outstanding product that doesn’t require a paid subscription. For advanced security use, you can save your own incident videos to your own server storage / cloud space for an added layer of protection. I highly recommend this system!

Good brand and good system, can recommend.
Purchased this set for my church, they needed 12 cameras for a new security system.This system does POE and expandable HDD. It also had essential features that made me consider it highly. I looked over reviews and this was recommended by others so I gave it a try.Install of the device is actually very easy. running the cables in a hot attic, not so enjoyable. Once the cables were ran and I installed the connectors to each end, the hard work was done. I started the system up and formatted the HDD per the instructions. I connected the camera close tot he unit to test each camera first, they all worked great. then I connected them at their locations and screwed the cameras into place. Once I checked the system, each camera would show on the system quickly. Image quality is as expected for security, but I have not really review the footage for any details. System runs without a monitor, just use my phone to check the cameras. I did need a monitor to do the initial set-up, but after that it was not needed.System has been operating a week with some hot days on the outside cameras. I saw a review that they die after a few months. well, I’ll update if they do.I would recommend this system to anyone looking for a DIY security camera system.

Great Value that met my needs.
In short the system is a great value. I bought it for Black Friday sale 11/2024.Pro: POE, Video quality good day and night,Easy Installation, Easy setup, Large storage drive, and iPhone App is not difficult.Con: Motion detection gets many false detections with changes in light and shadows. Also it is set off by insects flying nearby and sometimes heavy rain. I made many adjustments but will never be without some nuisance. But with that said I never expected perfection for the price I paid.After seven months one camera did go bad, and I contacted Reolink by chat and worked with the tech for about an hour troubleshooting the camera (that I already knew was bad). They sent me an email with the information on how to return the camera and then sent me an updated camera since my model is no longer in stock. This was a small hassle and I had to pay for shipping but I did get the new camera in 5 days after shipping the bad one.In closing I did add two more cameras to the system for a total of ten and as long as I don’t lose more than one camera a year I feel that it was worth the price.

Ease of setup and the fact that 100-ft Poe cables are included for each camera was a mind blower.Can absolutely recommend these. The application for PC and phone works perfectly without granting the NVR. Any access to the cloud which is exactly what I was looking for. I just installed these but I will try to remember to update in 6 months. As of right now this is a solid five-star purchase.
