What a great little bargain camera!
Extremely good clarity, even with night vision.Very easy and removable installation!I have used Wyze cameras for over a year now. They have quickly become my choice over more expensive, bulky brands.I now have five with four immediately available on single screen!

Nice but with a couple hiccups
Nice camera, clear videos, the long power cable is definitely a plus, don’t have to worry about swapping batteries. My situation I don’t use the window mount because I have to angle it on the windowsill. Normally the camera would point straight out front, but my front door is to the left, and the camera can’t see it without turning it to the left. Which also creates glare and some reflection that’s noticeable in the videos. So much for the window mount. This is my first Wyze camera and found the app at first was a bit confusing to navigate. One other thing I have noticed is all of the recorded videos (on the home screen-events) start recording late by about 1 second or so. The people at Wyze say… It’s because the camera is waking from sleep mode. Other than that, I like it

I’m a Wyze believer, converting from ring!
Let me start this by saying I’ve been heavily invested in the Ring ecosystem for several years. Doorbell cams, the alarm system, multiple other cameras. I’ve also had blink, which replaced the old Amazon cloud cams. I’ve had my fair share of cameras. Wyze blows the all out of the water. The app is incredible. You open it up, instant live feed on your screen. No need to click to start the feed, wait 10 seconds for it to load. It’s just instantly there, instantly live. The recordings are also great, it’s constantly recording but when it detects motion to trigger an event, it will start recording several seconds before the event actually begins so you get the full picture of what’s happening. The detection is also incredible, it’s able to detect vehicles, people, pets, etc. it even detected the mailman and notified me of a package detected vs just a person. You can also zone out different areas you don’t want to have motion trigger events or just mute notifications. I have mine facing out the window onto our Main Street so cars & people walk by frequently but it records absolutely everything.Installation and setup was a breeze. The window mount is nice sturdy Velcro, and the included USB cable is super long. They also include mounting clips for cable management which is a huge plus since you don’t want a cable just hanging down your window.Overall video quality is pretty good, I do wish the FOV was a bit wider, similar to the latest ring doorbell top to bottom view, but it’s not that bad. The most impressive thing that beats any other camera I’ve tried is the color night vision. It will be pitch black middle of the night and you can see everything on the camera view in perfect color. I’m not sure how they achieve it but it’s super impressive.Overall I love this little camera, and I’m going to slowly converting all of my security cams over to Wyze. They’ve definitely made me a huge fan with this new window cam. For the price, quality, and ease of use you truly can’t beat it. Definitely pick one up!

Great camera with a few issues.
First this is a real review as I paid for this and did NOT get it free. I know about “Vine” reviews as I am a vine member. I have 3 other Wyze V4 cameras so I do use them. This was easy to install on a window and surprisingly, the video is really good at night even though it has no infrared lights like the V4 cameras. It is only HD 1080P while the V4 cameras are 2.5K quad HD so they are better resolution. It has no outside audio as it is not outside and no light or siren. So for what it is meant for, you do not want to install anything outside, it’s pretty good. If you want the best, go with the V4 cameras outside. My big beef is the interface on the Wyze app. I do not currently pay for cloud storage and there are many things that do not work if you do not, I get that. I record on the micro SD card on my V4 cameras and I can easily go to any event recorded and play it on the SD card, not so with this camera. The window camera does indeed record on the SD card but to play back, you need to scroll through all the recorded videos to find the one you want to play. It is NOT the same interface as the V4 cameras. It is pretty clear the vine people have no clue as to how this really works, typical of vine reviews, they are always 5 stars for the most part.So bottom line is if you simply cannot put a camera outside, this is a nice camera for the resolution it has. Hopefully Wyze can fix the app issues to be more like the V4 cameras which are great.
