Auto-turn off bliss
You know that point in your life when you fully understand you are “grown up”? Getting mad that lights are always on because the kids won’t shut them off will do that to you.The installation of the lights is a little tricky if you are not used to working with basic light switches and sockets. The app and instructions do a good job of safely guiding you through the process. I was a little hesitant but got it to work after using ChatGPT for some quick questions about grounding wires and how to connect each wire to the new switches.It’s a good quality switch with no issues connecting to the app. I now have an automation to auto-shut off the lights if left on. Yes, it’s a small thing, and I’m probably not going to break even on the purchase versus energy saved, but the grown-up dad side of me is happy.

Great product! This allows you to make any light switch into a smart switch. I was trying to find dusk to dawn light bulbs for my porch lights, but they have multiple bulbs, so if one lit up, the others would not because of the light sensor. This was my particular reason for trying this, but not only can I set a schedule for my porch lights, I can turn them on/off via the app from anywhere. Bonus 2-gang allows the other interior light that is on that switch to be accessed as well. Easy to install, no need for an electrician. Follow the directions to shut off the breaker and connect 3 wires… that’s it. Wall plate looks sleek and awesome!

Easy to Connect
I have installed three of these so far in the house and it works great. Once you get the first Kasa product installed the rest follow suit. The initial one was a little difficult to install but that’s just an issue on my part. I have 12 total Kasa smart switches in my house and all work great. Installing two more torrow and hope to install 4 more soon in addition to the Kasa thermostat. Good value for the money as you can see. The Kasa app is easy to use as well and I have had no problems getting the switches to work in the app. If you get an Echo product to go with the switches it makes it even better. Being able to remotely turn off those pesky lights your children left on while trying to run out the door is amazingly convenient. I have had no connectivity issues unlike other reviews. I have a good router and plenty of WiFi coverage in the home so it makes me wonder if the issues with the other reviewers were that they didn’t have good coverage in their homes. The dimming feature worked flawless as it was able to dim lights i didn’t even know could be dimmed in our home.

Great smart switch; Pairs easily with your home wifi via their app
We bought these to replace some old smart switches from 10 years ago. Installation of these smart switches was the same as others, but I have to say I was impressed with them including stickers to properly identify the various wires in the box.Pairing of the new smart switches with your home wifi and account has always IMHO been the most challenging aspect of bringing smart devices to your home. I’m happy to say that Kasa has made it effortless via their app. First time pairing worked for each of these new switches.I’m so impressed with these switches I’ve bought more to replace other aging smart switches in our home.

So far it’s great. I like that you can push the switches like a normal light switch and it’s not flat. I did have some trouble connecting to WiFi but the customer service representative was great and had it fixed in no time.

No customer service
I have a lot of these products throughout my house. It’s convenient to be able to do things remote and have a schedule as well. It was nice while it lasted, but I’m done with this brand. The customer service is absolutely horrible. They never answer the phone, but you eventually get the option to get a call a back. When that happens they ask you ridiculous questions that have no correlation to your specific product. I was going in circles with this situation, so I decided to end the call. 10 minutes later as I’m writing this I get a call back from someone claiming to be a supervisor. She tried her best to help me. We get to the very end where i need to swap one of these out and she tells me I have to send it back. At that point have to do all this testing, look at all these pictures and then they’ll decide if they want to send me a new one. What?! All that for a switch that I bought a week ago? So what am I supposed to do with that outlet? Are you play all these games? So frustrated so confused so disappointed.

Un buen producto y demas, el unico problema es que en la caja dice que el tamaño de la caja es standar, el problema es que nunca mencionan que se necesitan dos cajas contiguas para poderlo instalar, si esperas poder usarlo.
