Great LED light strip that gets the job done
As like many other comments, “beautiful and easy to install.” Here’s what I can add.Making your own LED light strip is actually easy as long as you know how to solder. Just cut to length your roll of lights only through the middle of a column of contacts, attach LED driver to strip, attach strip to location, and attach driver to power source (plug-able method is the safest). These light strips by DayBetter are even easier as the strip is already divided into six segments roughly 1ft 7-8in long that comes ready to plug into each other for a maximum length of 9.8ft. The only downside is you give up on other conveniences; the controller/driver comes already attached to the 1st segment with roughly about 4in of cable, and the power cord is roughly 2ft 10in only. So you need a convenient outlet close by (or use an extension cord). On the plus side, the plug/power-adapter is small and compact and looks pretty good on the wall outlet.Things not explained:▪︎ The picture of the box contents (as of September 2025) is complete, but not descriptive. The 6 Light strip segments are depicted bottom left. The white srips on top right are connection extensions for between the lighted segments. Five 6in extensions, and three 3in U connectors (the plugs both face on one side). These connectors are foldable (flat) copper wires (but try not to bend and unbend too many times).▪︎ The LED strip segments can be cut to shorter lengths, but ONLY where the column of contact pads are. They look like a stack of copper bars.I recommend getting strip light channels to house these lights. The LED light strips are essentially bare circuit boards, which means there are potential exposed points that can be shorted. I have sweaty hands, and even with the lights off, I can put my finger between two lights or circuit chips, and two or more lights near my finger will weakly light up. There a several other reasons to use light channels, but I’m not going to elaborate on them here.Issues:▪︎ The controller cord and power cord is rather too short.▪︎ No known official way to order more controllers & power adapters to use with unused light strip segments.▪︎ The unpairing and pairing does not really do anything. After unpairing, the lights only dimmed and brightened (not blink as it should), and afterwards I can still control the lights with the remote. In fact, I’ve tried the remote on another set of lights that I have not done the unpair/pair routine (and was still controlled by its own remote) and I was able to control the other lights straight off the bat.Last note:▪︎ The recieving female plugs on the connection extensions are out-of-the-factory new, and may not be easy to connect with its counterpart. Before making the initial plug-in, turn the two plugs 90° to each other so that you can push a single pin into each of the recieving hole one at a time (being careful to not poke yourself) to break in the plug.All and all, I’m very satisfied with this LED strip light. I, in fact, have more than one of them.

Super Brightness, but Delicate!!!
These are great in many ways: super easy to put up, 6 different “color” tones, and super bright. This is my second set, the 1st quit working shortly after the 30 days return window was up. I guess I could have followed up with the manufacturer, but for the money I just decided to try another set, after buying 3-4 different ones that were either not bright, lasted less than a month, etc.Be forewarned “handle very carefully”, these strips are very delicate,Overall, they are the best set I tried out of the other 3-4 I tried.

Bad lights, great customer service – worth another chance
Edit: I’m amending my review. Below is the review as originally posted with one star and the title of “It could have been worse, but not by much.”Why the edit? Well, after my scathing review, in which I didn’t pull any punches, I was contacted by the seller who offered me a full refund.That accomplished two things. First, it told me that they were willing to back their product 100%. That is refreshing. But second, it tells me that, with that kind of backing, I can feel confident in ordering from them again. If I am not satisfied with the performance of the product, I can contact them and I believe they will work with me.So, you know what? I’m going to give them another shot. I’m going to order another set and see if the ones I got were a dud or if this is typical for these lights. So, stay tuned for another review. I’ll let you know what shakes out.In the meantime, my original review is posted below.**********************************************************************************************What an absolute waste of money. For $25 I expected quite a bit more.I ordered these lights to place under my six-foot table that I use as a computer desk. I have a dark blue table skirt over the top and I store items underneath. As you might imagine, with the table skirt and a bunch of boxes, it can get a little dark underneath there. So, I ordered these lights to be placed underneath the table to provide some much-needed light.I spent a considerable amount of time placing 3M tape all along the inside edge of the table so these LED strips would stay put and placing these lights underneath the table. I’m not as young as I used to be, so it was a bit of an effort and took some time.I was initially disappointed with these lights because they looked cheap. With most LED light strips, you’ll find a clear cover that provides a smooth surface when you run your fingers over it. This had no covering. It’s the LED exposed. It allows the company to pack a long string of lights in a small box, but it doesn’t offer much protection for the diodes. Regardless, I shrugged it off. They were going to be under a table anyway. I won’t see them, and they will have protection. It seems my initial reaction was correct. But the disappointment was not finished.Once the lights were in place, these things quickly went from bad to worse. The first thing I noticed was that there were two different color temperatures of lights (see pic). Within a few days, part of the lights stopped turning on, so I lost a section of them (again, see pic). Now, there’s a short section at one end of the table (about three feet in length) that lights up. The rest have all gone dark.I, too, read the reviews before my purchase, which left me wondering what happened. Regardless of the five-star reviews, I will not be taking my chances on these lights again. If it were a marginally bad experience, maybe, but this was totally bad. The only way it could have been worse is if the three-foot section went out, and given the rate these things are failing, I’m not completely counting that out as a possibility.Buyer be cautious.

Cheap lighting or junk
I’d purchased this cheap led light strip about a month ago, it was all good in the beginning but after 3 or 4 weeks the light stopped responding to the cheap remote. I can not use the lighting features such as dimming and other functions. This lLED lightning is junk, buyer beware.

These are great.
These work great! They can be either “daylight” which I don’t care for or amber. You can adjust the brightness but even at full they aren’t blinding. The stick back makes for easy instalation. I put them in the top. Our kitchen always felt dark, these solved that problem. And the little piwer box responds to toych which iss great for my vertically challenged girlfriend.
