Pro-Level Performance, Beginner-Friendly Simplicity
The Canon EOS R6 Mark II has turned out to be an amazing camera. I’ll admit, I was skeptical at first about spending this much, but I’m really glad I went for it. I was torn between this and the Sony A7 IV/A7 III, but what tipped the scale for me was the Canon’s ergonomics, faster shutter, and excellent autofocus performance.Even though this is definitely a camera aimed at more advanced photography, it doesn’t feel overwhelming. The Scene Intelligent Auto mode makes it really simple when I just want to point and shoot—it handles the settings automatically and delivers great results. At the same time, the info guides for modes like Tv, Av, and Fv are very easy to follow, so I’ve been able to grow into using manual and semi-manual settings without feeling lost.My favorite things so far are the fully rotating screen (which makes shooting from any angle a breeze) and the 40fps burst shooting with the electronic shutter. That speed lets me capture fleeting moments exactly as they happen, without missing details. As for lenses, the STM kit lenses are decent, but nothing special. If you really want to get the most out of this camera, I’d suggest going for Canon’s RF USM lenses—they’re sharper and faster, though of course more expensive. The good thing is, even if lenses are a big investment, the R6 Mark II body feels like it’s built to last and stay relevant for at least the next 5–8 years.Overall, I have no regrets. It’s a fantastic blend of power and usability, and it gives me confidence whether I’m just taking casual shots or pushing myself with more advanced photography.

Still great camera for 2025 & 2026 – don’t wait for
Absolutely love this camera! I upgraded from a Canon EF-M50 mirrorless camera, and I am so happy that I did! If you are someone who has experience with DSLR cameras, and experience with Canon cameras, the functionality of this camera will be so easy for you to work with. In general, I believe Canon cameras are easier to learn how to work the camera, compared to Nikon- but that’s a different story. The size of this camera isn’t too small, nor too large, where as, my M50 is small in size comparison. The picture quality is great, and is better than my previous camera, the details speak for themselves. Overall, I do recommend getting this camera still, in 2025 & 2026. There seems to be no word yet for when the Mark III comes out, when I looked online before making this purchase. Even if the Mark 111 comes out soon, the price would be much higher, and probably will have kinks to work out. So, this Mark II fits the bill for most that are looking for a new camera on a dime!

Amazing Camera
This is a great camera so far with the high-end auto focus so if you’re trying to pick between a high expensive camera and a medium price camera, I would suggest getting the Canon R6 Mark two it’s not as expensive as a R5 mark two or not as cheap as they R7 seven R8. Also, this comes with in body stabilization, which the Cannon R7 and Cannon R8 do not offer. Again, I would highly recommend this as I shoot, street photography and high fashion photography.

Takes such sharp pictures and easy to learn how to use
I love this camera. It is my first mirrorless camera and it definitely is worth the hype. I have taken pictures for 15 years and this upgrade has been so fun. My pictures are so sharp and it is so easy to use.

Nearly Perect camera!!!
What is there not to love about this camera? I waited awhile, testing it out thoroughly, to give it a honest review. Too many thing to list that I love about it. Most may not know, that there is a 2x and 4x digital built in zoom. I’ve found that the 2x works really nice, the 4x not so much. The 4x, you might be able to use another program outside of Lightroom, to improve the quality. Two things I do not like would be, 1st, you should be able to reprogram one of the buttons to turn on the pre-burst mode, without having to go though other steps to use it. By that time, the need might be over with and you will miss your shot. 2nd would be, where it saves all photos taken in burst mode into one file. It’s a pain in the butt to save one file at a time, using Canon only program. They need to update that program!!!!

Una cámara potente, bien construida y que entrega una calidad increíble.El lente es super nítido considerando que no es de la gama mas alta. Me sorprendió mucho y es el primer lente de kit que no pienso vender.La pila dura muchísimo.Super feliz con mi compra

I’ve used Canon for decades as my work cameras, and they’ve never let me down. I didn’t love the R era, specifically the way the R handled, but that was fixed in the R6 and perfected in the R6II: a camera that does more than I need and I don’t expect to replace for a decade.

Disappointed to recieve previously opened box with defective camera. Something is shaking inside the camera and giving a sound.Such a bad surprise for quite costly item.

Excellent camera. Fits my current lenses and I LOVE the full frame and the speed of the auto focus. All of the options take some time to use and get used to but are excellent once you know how and practice using them. Would definitely recommend.
