Fantastic Drive for all of my huge graphics file!
I bought this external hard drive to store all of my large graphic files and ensure they are safe. Fast, easy, and I know that every file is backed up and in one place. I am pleased with this purchase, and I bought a second one for all of my files at the office. Excellent quality for the price, easy to use, high speed, and works well with my entire PC system.

(So Far ) Very Reliable / Fast / Portable BootDrive for MacBookPro
I have a 6yr old MBP – It’s last of Intel generation…It’s decently fast and powerful for my needs, but the hard drive is only 250GB -and I am constantly dumping / backing up files to create HD space … So, I bought this 4TB SanDisk Drive and formatted it as a Boot Drive… So far, it has worked out great. I have traveled to nyc two times with my MBP – even did a presentation for 150+. People using this set up. I primarily use this MBP for Photoshop, After Effects, GarageBand, Logic, and Excel…. Most of these carry and export decent sized files – hence the need for a big HD – and So far. The SanDisk 4TB has proved up to the challenge…. Even in very “portable” situations, like balancing on the edge of a piano to call up and project images in real time. Very Happy with it.

If you need 8 TB SSD with Fast Data Transfer this A/C Powered Sandisk Drive will do the job
There are not many SSD ** external drives that are 8 TeraBytes in size so there are not a lot to choose from. SanDisk has a good reputation. I would have prefered black but only this powder-blue was in stock and desparate times call for desperate color choices. :-)Drive has worked well for a number of months under heavy use. It does get very “warm” bordering on “hot”.It needs the external power supply as I assume the USB-C port does not supply enough power for this case and it is about 4″x4″x1″ so it is smallish but not pocket size.Since it is called a DESK drive, they are not trying to hide any of these facts. Unfortunately, IMO, 8TB SSD drives are still expensive but as one expects, it is a bit cheaper than are two 4 TB Sandisk SSD drives.Those do not need the AC adapter and do fit in your pocket (I have a few) and that is an attraction of a smaller drive.It is also safer to have two independent 4TB drives than one 8TB unless you need to have the full larger size drive space for projects like film, animation or even a data backup.Bottom line = If you need 5 to 8 TB of continuous SSD drive space this is a good choice. If not, I personally would buy two 4 TB SSD drives I needed the larger space so bought it for that reason alone.*SSD = Solid State Drive. It is NOT a mechanical hard drive so it is much more costly per TB and much faster. You should know which to choose based on the purpose but let me assure you that both mechanical drives and SSD drives do not last forever and both can fail. Never fill up a SSD completely or that can accelerate the failure.

This SanDisk drive is very handy for moving files between my iPhone, iPad, and laptop. The dual connectors (USB-C and Lightning) make it simple to back up photos and videos without needing extra cables. Transfer speeds are fast, and the companion app makes automatic backup easy to set up.I like the compact design—it fits nicely on a keychain and feels sturdy. Having 256GB of space gives me peace of mind for storing large files, and the included Lightroom trial was a nice bonus. A reliable drive that makes file management much easier

High Capacity; Great Price
Love this small thumb drive. The capacity is quite large, and I like that it uses USB-C so that I don’t need to use an adapter with my MacBook.

Worthless
Worthless. You have to download another App to use this product with your phone. The drive is not discoverable in your iOS files app, you are unable to upload files from the flash drive to file locations on your phone.Lastly, if you’re downloading your pictures to your computer off your phone with this device and have a windows computer, the pictures are in a format that isn’t readable.Just connect your phone to your computer with a cable, inconvenient but gives you full capability.

Bought this for my MacBook Pro as I do a lot of sound recording and video work and the libraries and files were taking up significant hard drive space. Very happy, seems super quick and I have not yet noticed any difference between the files being on this compared to hard drive. I like the design and it seems to work well.
