The Rapid Cardiac Analysis Tool (R-CAT) Window is a Flexible 3.25″ x 6.75″ plastic card with a reversible see-through baseline window that can be used for identifying ST changes associated with cardiac ischemia, injury and infarction. It also contains comparison examples of normal sinus rhythms and variations of ST deviation. The R-CAT Window features unique calibrated tools for evaluating heart rate, PR, QRS, QT intervals and significant Q-Waves. This product can be used for both EKG rhythm strip and 12 lead EKG analysis. Color coded format illustrates EKG areas to the hearts surface for 12 lead interpretation. Can be marked on with a dry erase marker and wiped off for both staff and patient education.

Doing clinical while shadowing with a Radiology Nurse who does nuclear stress tests & EKG’s (ECG) she had one of these & recommended it to me. This was helpful in measuring & evaluating heart rhythms. It’s perfect size to carry on a clipboard, in a planner, or bag. Easy to use & affordable!

Good reference when bouncing around an ambulance
Handy little tool. Does what I need it to. Only thing that might bother someone was the one I received was pretty scratched up. Not noticeable nor does it interfere with its use. But in the light it looks like it might have been moved across a hard surface a few times. Does not really bother me since you can’t tell unless it’s angled and shining in the light. But I can see someone else being bothered by buying a new item that has scratches in the light.

El tamaño es de unos 18 cm de largo, no puede colgarse en el gafete, sin embargo me ha ayudado en el diagnóstico de IAMEST cuando el ST se eleva muy poco, por daño en el vector. Gracias a la línea roja puedes ver las alteraciones con certeza porque a veces tus ojos te generan duda, pero la línea roja descarta cualquier duda. La empleo en Terapia Intensiva me encantó, recomendable
