Handy and Smarter Than I Expected
I originally bought this pen just to try out the tech, but it turned out way more useful than I thought. I can write down ideas anytime, and when I open the app later it automatically syncs everything I wrote offline into digital notes. Super convenient for quick thoughts I’d usually lose.The battery life is great too. I’ve been using it for a week and it’s still going. The only small downside is the pen tip feels a bit loose, though they provide extra tips which might help. Overall, a really practical tool I plan to use long-term.

All I can say is that this product is revolutionary. As someone who writes in a journal daily, I have tested out various forms of it. From leather journals with reusable pads to entirely electronic devices, I was unable to find a hybrid that is both modern yet romantic. Inq is the hybrid I sought. While keeping the romance alive through pen and paper writing, the software transcribes your handwriting onto an app. This allows for easy bookkeeping and link sending. I am glad that Ophaya is not entirely electronic, otherwise I would miss the feeling of a pen gliding against a page. I truly believe this product will be a game changer for those who love to write but seek modern adaptations!

No Erasing On Notebook
You can not erase in the notebook so if you make a mistake writing it stays on the notebook. Even though you can correct the mistake on the digital platform with the app eventually you’re going to run out of notebooks because you can’t erase. What’s the point of that.

Exactly What I Needed — Nearly Perfect Smart Note-Taking System with a Few Recommendations
The Ophaya Sync Smart Pen and A5 Notebooks are exactly what I was looking for. The real-time handwriting sync works flawlessly, and I’m amazed at how quickly the app can search through my handwritten notes. The text conversion and keyword search features are incredibly fast and efficient, making it easy to track down meeting notes, calendar items, and to-do lists in seconds.I do have a couple of improvement suggestions. The pen ink could be smoother—right now the writing experience is a bit rough compared to premium ballpoints. I’d also love to see upgraded paper quality in the notebooks. Something closer to 100 GSM (like PAPERAGE journals) would make writing feel more premium. A non-spiral, business-oriented version with a soft leather cover would be a fantastic option as well. The current line spacing is wider than traditional narrow-rule paper, so a tighter ruling would be another great enhancement.Even with those suggestions, I absolutely love using this system. It has been a lifesaver for staying organized and capturing ideas during meetings. Being able to write naturally on paper while everything syncs instantly to my phone—and remains searchable—is a game changer. I highly recommend it for professionals, students, and anyone who loves handwritten notes but wants digital efficiency.
