Perfect M:TG Backpack!
I’d been using another camera bag from the same company for over year to take all my M:TG commander decks with me when I go to my LGS or to play with friends. It’s held up amazingly well, and I was pretty happy with it. As I was looking around Amazon, I saw this one and it addressed a few of the minor annoyances I had with the last one. Namely, with the old one the entire front opened up to give access to everything together. While that was nice, it did make it a little unwieldly in more crowded locations.With this one, the front opening to access my decks is a smaller flap that doesn’t need as much space to open. Surprisingly, it also fits the exact same number of decks that the other did – mostly due to not using any of the padded dividers. Overall size-wise, this backpack is pretty much the same height/width but ~1″ thinner.The best part for me though is the top compartment. I can now put all my dice, tokens, counters, and other accessories in the top to make them very quick and easy to access during games. With the same 12 decks as before, but taking up less overall room, it feels like I have a lot more space to work with up top to bring extra accessories.There’s also a small front pocket that’s meant for SD cards and other tiny items, which turns out is the perfect size to hold loose cards. You could use it to store tokens, infinitokens, etc. I ended up using it for pins – the pin backs are safely contained to the small pocket so they won’t scratch/damage anything else in the bag.The bag has the same outer waterproof plastic on the flaps that I loved about the last one. It’s perfect for adding stickers to so you can make your bag unique and stand out if other people end up using the same one (I saw several people with the same bag at MagicCon Vegas this year!).The strap on the side meant for a tripod also functions well as an attachment point for your playmat tube – more proof that camera bags just make the perfect M:TG bags as well. I ended up finally splurging on a HeavyPlay playmat that folds up and fits into the laptop compartment – no more bumping my playmat tube on things!

Stores everything!
I had high hopes for this bag and it delivered. First I love the stiff outer shell, it really keeps equipment inside in place and protected from outside bang. All the compartments are beyond fabulous. The small zipper compartment that holds memory cards is incredibly handy- I label the memory card cases so at a glance I can pull out what I need, all the card slots hold the card cases so secure, none fall out but all are easily seen for extraction. The laptop compartment is roomy and I store a necklace mount and a few other items in it. The case is balance for ease of moving by the top handle, and the backpack straps are comfortable enough for the load. The best feature I guess is laying the bag on it’s back and unzipping the large compartment and seeing everything right there and organized, accessible without rummaging through a camera bag. I didn’t think I’d use the tripod strap on the side, but turns out it hold my gorilla tripod just fine since there isn’t room inside for it. Quality of the bag is good, I’ve been using it pretty regular for over 6 months.

The perfect mid size Bag
Lasted 3 years of abuse! i’m not kind to my gear and i put it down on dirt, snow, you name it! Top zipper started ripping (probably from overloading it) and a noticed the shoulder strap stitches giving up (My bags carry Heavy gear) so i had to call it and get another one! It’s the perfect mid size bag for my everyday use, big enough to carry everything i need but not too bulky. I absolutely love the SD card pocket, i’m hooked and could never get another bag that doesn’t have it! Thanks to it, gone are the days where i forget to bring my SD cards, as they always live on the bag and are easy to access! The top section is perfect to carry my smaller cameras DJI osmo 3, Insta 360 8k, power banks, and even a dJI mini drone, i keep my iPad on the laptop section on the back. Highly recommended! and will probably get another one in 3 years lol

Great if THIS suits your needs
Solid backpack, has lots of space and compartments, pretty easy to use.Only thing I dislike is attaching the sections of the main section with velcro is kinda subpar but it’s the nature of the setup.I think it’s worth because of the limited options for this style of backpack.This was exactly what I wanted for my use case being a YouTuber and having a bunch of random equipment all the time. Easy on the go, pretty accessible, keeps me organized.Compared to other options it’s way cheaper and still a decent quality product.10/10 would recommend if this is exactly what you need as a videographer or maybe photographer.

Using it as an MTG deck bag
I’m currently using this as a bag to haul my decks and other mtg related things in. After searching all over Amazon for a good quality bag without quality prices, I ended up on this one.All of it’s features are being used except for the side “quick access” pocket. The main camera storage is where I keep my decks, since it can be configured to hold them perfectly without any stress. The top pocket is for my dice, extra sleeves, phone charger battery pack, extra life counter wheels, and tokens. The small pocket between the two is perfect for my double wheel life counter. Side pocket holds my playmat with assistance from the clamp strap, and the laptop pocket holds my trade binder perfectly!Build quality seems very solid. The straps are sturdy, the foam all feels dense, and the whole shell of the backpack seems very robust. The inner dividers are also sturdy and the velcro holds on TIGHT.My only gripe is that the straps you pull to tighten the bag to your back are a little hard to get started if they’re backed all the way out. I’ll remedy this with a loop or plastic piece to grip while on the go.Overall a solid bag for your MTG needs. Look no further, this is the one!
