Good inexpensive option
Has bit of a low profile. Took a bit to get used to the new keys as my older keyboard had larger box type keys. This one is very smooth and keys flow pretty easy. Makes typing feel faster. Mouse is standard. Easy scroll, easy click.

Works great – Not for gaming
My new computer was not compatible with my old mouse and keyboard, so here I am. I am very pleased with Logitech and have used their products countless times, and these did not fail to disappoint. Getting not just a keyboard but also a mouse all for this low price? That’s practically a steal.Both work flawlessly for daily activities, mild gaming, and even working remotely from home. I have no complaints there and could not be more pleased. I personally am not a fan of wireless devices, so it is very nice to have a wired keyboard and mouse, both of which have a decent length of wire.If you are thinking of using these for intense gaming, though, think again. My boyfriend has recently gotten me into MOBA games like League of Legends. The keyboard is able to handle it fairly well without much noticeable issue. The mouse, however, sucks. This kind of mouse is NOT designed for rapid clicking, and so you have a lot of “I swear I clicked the button 50 times but the ability I was trying to do did not go off because the computer could not recognize the mouse click in time”. I have also had quite a few video game characters die because I was trying to click to get my character to run, but the click just never registered, leaving my character to be attacked defenselessly. So you CAN play them, but you won’t play them as well as you’d like with this mouse.I ended up buying two different mouses, including a low-cost gaming mouse that is also from Logitech, and the verdict is that you can’t cheap out on a gaming mouse. If you plan to do any kind of intense gaming, you are going to need one of those heavy, ugly gaming mouses that cost upwards of $40. There’s just no avoiding it.In short, heavy gaming is out, but simple games like Bloons, Minecraft, XCOM, and even Portal will work fine. Despite my angry, rapid clicking, the mouse also still functions perfectly well for non-gaming purposes including 8 hours of remote work 5 days a week. The mouse is lightweight and durable, and the keyboard has been able to withstand everything I throw at it from Amazon review essays to heavy gaming to a kitten who just loves to sleep on keyboards. The cord length is great, the keyboard buttons never stick, the mouse has a nice quiet click, and the price is fantastic.10/10, would buy again for anything other than heavy gaming purposes, and even then I’d still get the keyboard for heavy gaming (just not the mouse)

3rd UPDATE:Eight months from the purchase date and we have had to buy a set of replacement “stick-on” key letters to replace the disappearing letters on this Logitech keyboard. So far, eleven (11) keys had letters or symbols that needed replacement stickers. For the prior several months we’ve been using a silver “Sharpie” permanent marker to redraw the missing key lettering but the “Sharpie” does not last either, and having to rewrite the letters on the keys constantly is a nuisance.2nd UPDATE:With less than four months of home use and the keyboard receiving no novel-length typing, along with the typist having short fingernails, it is suddenly apparent that the lettering on the keyboard is disappearing! The letter labels on the A; S; C; V; N; M; keys are all disfigured and partially effaced and a couple are unreadable. Oddly enough, the Logitech keyboard this one replaced – a veteran of several years use, still has all its lettering intact and readable on all the keys.The physical keyboard itself (and the mouse), are performing well, but the keyboard keys’ lettering failure is disappointing so we are deducting a couple of “stars” for this happening to an otherwise good product.There are replacement stick-on letters available for computer keyboards, so for those that are not touch typists and sneak a look at the keys now and then, there are ways to remediate this problem if you find this happening to your keyboard.Original Review:The Logitech MK-120 full-size rectangular USB keyboard and USB optical mouse combination is surprisingly good for a relatively inexpensive pair of “computer input devices”. The key travel on the keyboard seems to be a bit longer than the last Logitech keyboard that this one replaces (a Logitech ‘classic keyboard 200’), but it offers an easy, smooth typing experience.The keys are sensitive, easy to press, and offer a slight resistance so you know you are pressing a key, but there is not enough physical resistance to slow down your typing, and what’s worth mentioning is the key spacing is not cramped and is well suited for those with big fingers and clumsy hands like your present reviewer. The layout of the keyboard is pretty standard with a “Windows” key layout, (though, of course, the keyboard will also work with other operating systems.) There is also a full sized numerical keypad, arrow keys, function keys, and all the other keys found universally on keyboards popular in the U.S. Also worth mentioning is the key markings, labeling each key, are large and bright.There is a slight key noise when typing but it is not annoying or distracting and claims of “quiet keyboards” apparently were written by those that are either deaf or with loud sound blaring in the background. Used in an office environment this keyboard would be considered ultra-quiet, but at a desk in a silent room there is a bit of sound coming from the pressed keys.The Logitech optical mouse is a two button mouse with a scroll wheel and it too works well. The width of the mouse is well proportioned and it fits your hand easily and the base of the mouse moves smoothly. No one wants to ignore the virtues and technical prowess of a two button mouse by simply writing it works well, but really, what else can be said about a mouse. Suffice it to say that the Logitech mouse is a nice optical mouse and functions nicely, and is an all around nice addition to the keyboard making the whole package nice.All niceties aside, if you find yourself needing a replacement keyboard and mouse, as we did, then the Logitech MK-120 keyboard and mouse combination looks to be an affordable choice where cost doesn’t skimp on function. Keyboards and mice are just mundane computer accessories, but I like these new tools enough to give them a positive review, and I wrote this review because I am surprised and well pleased that these inexpensive devices work so well.
