Great drone with a lot of neat features
Great drone for the money. I was looking for an affordable drone to film my action sports such as biking, skiing, and fly fishing but didn’t want to dump 500 plus dollars just Incase I lost or crashed my drone. I’ve notice a lot of similarities operating this drone to the more expensive DJI drones. Some of the best features I like is the “follow me” so I can have the drone record me as am cruising around on a bike. Also the return to home feature is nice. When I’m done operating the drone I hit the RTH option and let it automatically come back to me while I go grab a beer and relax. If you happen to lose connection with the drone it will automatically return to home so that’s a little reassuring feelingThe setup and initial use was simple. They have QR codes to scan to watch videos on the set up and also the instructions are pretty well written. I highly recommend reading these and watching the videos prior to using the drone to ensure you get the most out of it. Oh don’t forget to remove the camera protector prior to flying! It’s easy to do because it blends in with the drone.For the money I feel this drone is great and it has a lot of neat features. It comes with a nice case and extra battery. I feel that the battery life is on average with other comparable size drones. I also feel like the camera does a decent job taking videos and pics.

Solid drone
This is a really solid drone that gets all the important things right. It’s very easy to fly and the learning curve is minimal.It responds well to the controls; there’s no noticeable lag, and the movements are precise. It makes for a very enjoyable and stress-free flying experience. The kit includes two batteries, which provides a long flight time right out of the box. The carrying bag that comes with it is a fantastic addition—it’s high quality and makes it convenient to take the drone anywhere.One thing to note: you have to give it a moment to acquire a GPS signal after you turn it on. This pre-flight check is necessary for stable hovering and safety features, so while it requires a little patience, it’s understandable.For a drone that is easy to pilot, responsive, and comes with a great case, this is an excellent choice.

Redrie Drone – OK performance/Some camera issues
I received the drone this week and looked forward to exploring this drone and comparison with my EXO Pro 3 drone and my less expensive TSRC A6 drone.Setup was easy following the instructions and I was flying within about 5 minutes after charging the batteries and controller. The drone picked up 19 satellites quickly and locked in. Camera photo and videos were easy to start, and the stability of the videos were, as expected, equivalent to my A6 and not the EXO. The manual does indicate that the camera protective cover helps stabilize the video. I tested both and there is no difference. The camera is mounted in a rubber like mount with adjustments from 0 – 90 degrees insteps of 22.5 degrees. There is no stability adjustment for the gimbal. In windy conditions you see all movement.Videos are good and the still pictures are acceptable.The camera reception and recording were OK. I had the camera stop intermittently but return to full functionality at1040′ horizontal and 393′ vertical. I could not get much reception past that. The camera stopped and started several times. On another flight, I lost the camera at 393′ vertical and 260′ downwind and the camera never came back. I do not know what is happening here. Battery levels were approximately at 50% for these runs.The “return to home” button does work well and worked every time.In summary, the Redrie drone is not a bad drone and if you fly it in limited areas (downwind and height) it will perform as intended. Pictures and videos are equivalent to other drones of this type that I have and have flown. My main concern is the initial price which is quite high when you can get an equivalent performing drone for half the price of this drone.

Very pleased with my purchase so far
Very pleased with my purchase so far. I received it late last night, so I was not able to fly. But it did give me a chance to charge up the batteries and controller and time to read over the manual and watch the training videos. The drone connected to the app quickly and with no issues. Calibration was quick and easy. I was flying in about 10+ mph winds, but overall stability was just fine. The controls worked as they should and pretty easy to manipulate. I did about 4 or 5 short test flights about 5 minutes each, mostly to just train myself and try out the functions. The return to home function worked just like it should, I didn’t try the follow me or route follow functions yet, but I will soon. The camera quality and video quality was much better than I expected for the price of this drone. Again I didn’t get a lot of video as I was still too busy learning the basic functions. I’ll update my review if anything changes.UPDATE. I have been flying now for a few weeks and decided to drop my rating from 5 to 4 stars. First you will NOT get 45 minutes of flying time on the two batteries, more like 25-30 minutes. Also don’t expect the best video. It’s shaky and definitely not 4k, or at least what is saved on the phone. It’s possible it might do 4k if you decide to install a SD card. I’m still pleased with my purchase for the price I paid which after coupon was $80.00. But I do already have a higher end drone on order.
