Perfect 360 Camera for Drone Pilots!
As a drone pilot, I’m really impressed with this 360 camera. The replaceable lenses are a huge advantage, especially when flying, since accidents can happen. The 5.7K video quality is outstanding: ultra-sharp, smooth, and perfectly stabilized. It delivers professional-grade footage in every flight. Highly recommended for anyone who values both durability and performance.

Gopro in small form factor.
Good profuct. But only if you live in so named “cold” countries. It overheats easily if you stay in traffic jam about 2-5 minutes, when ambient temp more than +28C. Other than this, the camera is great and the day quality is very good! Value is ok, but can be cheaper. Battery life is good.

good quality
I bought the GoPro Max2 for when we go boating. It works beautifully. It’s very sturdy. We go fishing out in the ocean so sometimes it can be a little choppy, but the videos do not come out shaky. The color is crisp. It catches all angles. I like how you when it’s downloaded on the computer, you can move the mouse to any direction and it will show that view from the camera. It is voice activated. It’s mounted on a rod. We’re really enjoying our trips without the hassle of having to hold a camera or miss something because we’re filming.

Great 360 option
Minus the fact gopro has never really been good with low light it is definitely nice I only had to get a selfie stick all my accessories from previous gopros worked.

A solid next step in the GoPro lineup
As a professional video producer, I’m always looking for versatile tools to get the shot. GoPro, when they first started, were alone in the action camera space, and I’ve owned several versions of the Hero line. But these days, you have several options from other companies, both for standard and 360 video. This review will focus only on the standard (single-angle) use. I am currently not producing 360 videos for clients, and I frankly don’t have a lot of free time to play with it on my own. There have been comments on this new GoPro Max2 overheating. I have not experienced this, but I’m still in my first 10 hours or so of filming. The other thing people have complained about is the poor low-light performance in comparison with other company’s cameras. I do primarily commercial and documentary work, which means I’m using existing light during the day or I’m lighting a scene. I’m not shooting at night with this camera, so low light has not been an issue. But my main camera is a Sony A7iv, which almost sees in the dark, so not having good low-light resolution on the action camera would be a problem if I were depending on it regularly.Overall, this is a nice next step in the GoPro lineup, but the price forces me to drop it from 5 stars to 4. I like having the option to shoot 360 video in 8K, but I don’t know if I’ll ever get there with my current set o clients.

The most rugged 360 cam
I love how rugged this camera is in comparison than other 360 cams. I have the X5 as well, but I’ve only been using the Max2 lately! The colors are great and I’ve beat the hell out of mine hitting trees and stuff with no damage. It is not great in low light, but in daylight it’s my favorite 360 camera for sure. This cam can also do everything the GoPro Hero 13 Ultrawide can do. Single lens mode is basically the exact same (I own both cams).

This action camera is very impressive with its different modes and 360 view I due have to say the battery is a bit short life then I would want so if you decide to buy definitely consider extra batteries and case but in total this a 5 star for me and for anyone looking into a 360 camera cheers

Besides the increased video density and frame rates, the new model fixes what IMO is one of the most annoying glitches with the old 360 – with the two lenses offset on the old model, stitching for close-up objects was horrible. On the new model, the lenses are symmetrically placed, vastly improving stitching of the two sides of the scene.
