    Great! Worked better than expected.
Great. Used twice and they worked perfectly and super easy. Clubs synced easliy and were identified by my watch everytime and tracked every shot. Made keeping score easy since it knew every stroke i took even putts. Not sure on longevity but so far I’m very pleased. They fit securely on clubs and I didn’t even notice them while playing. After round stats in garmin app is amazing!

Very useful tool with a couple small caveats
This does exactly what it’s supposed to do. It attaches easily and firmly to each of your clubs, knows which club you’re using, and records your stats for each club stroke. It then shows lots of data based on your hits on the Garmin app which gives you great feedback on your game. The Garmin app even lets you make any edits you need to the data.Caveats : It only knows which club you have based on the club being “upright” AND in the sunlight (i.e. out of your golf bag), so you have to be careful not to pull out multiple clubs. It’s very accurate but can sometimes miss putts that go a short distance, usually those short putts right by the hole. Probably a GPS limitation. This is easily corrected on your watch at the end of the hole, but just something to look out for. When first pairing these it can seem like they aren’t being detected, but you have to remember they only come out of “sleep mode” (to save battery) when exposed to light, so be sure to hold them up to a bright light (or go outside) when you first pair them to your phone. After that they are rock solid being detected by your watch as soon as your pull them out of your golf bag.A full (14) set of these + a Garmin watch is pricey ($400 at least for this + an S12) but worth every penny to help you see how your game is. Especially if you’re a stats junkie 🙂

CT10 sensors work well (but not always?)
They made me lazy about keeping score in my head. Found out that was a mistake. Half way through my last round, my 4 wood was unpaired (I got a warning msg on the s12). It paired up again but it was too distracting to do it during the round. Then the driver wouldn’t register shots. Had to add them in later on the app. They don’t register practice swings, or mulligans for the same reason. So maybe good, if you take mulligans. But it won’t know if you’re taking stroke and distance penalty shots. Add those manually. Also later in the round the putter wasn’t reading correctly. Or the S12 wasn’t working correctly. I had to score the hole manually because it wasn’t recognizing the end of the hole when I was on the next tee. Maybe there were battery issues in the sensors? I got new batteries and will try tomorrow with all fresh cells seeing as I took the ct10s straight out of the box and onto my clubs. The cells may have been long in the tooth already.Otherwise, I liked how they worked before those issues popped up. First round worked flawlessly. I think it’s a cheap fix for new batteries, if that’s the cure.

    Tracks your shots better
Tracks when you pull a club out of your bag. When paired with a Garmin Approach watch tracks your shots throught the Garmin Golf app for more data by club

    Almost a great product
Started with a set of three and over time bought 14. The price is very high and it requires a Garmin Approach gps/watch so you have a lot of money tied up to collect golf data. For the first year all went well until the batteries died which is not a problem. However. Garmin did not provide a tool to remove the battery cap so with great effort I got them changed. Although they say the tool can be purchase I have never found one for sale. I have now lost two battery caps so those sensors are worthless. Garmin did not take into account that someone might lose a battery cap so they are not for sale either. Try to buy one or two Ct10 sensors. We own mulitple Garmin devices which work great until they don’t. Then plan to through them out and buy new. BTW, my Approach S20 watch/GPS was killed yesterday by ESD. Who makes electronic devices without ESD protection? Today, I have 12 sensors on 14 clubs but no GPS/watch to collect the data. Back to using a range finder and manually collecting shot dataRevised Review Feb 3, 2022 – Changed the rating to 5 star because I said it was a great product but the “almost” was added for lack of the proper tool and repair part when the battery cap gt lost. After a more thorough search I found the tool on the Garmin website and ordered it. Then got in a chat with them on the availabiity of replacement caps. The Garmin CS person issued an order to replace both sensors and added a tool for no cost. They were very responsive and earned a better rating. Don’t try to change batterries without the tool, I used a large pliers and it obviously was not adequate

    Expensive but critical for improvement
These are more expensive than they should be, but paired with a Garmin watch, they work fantastic.

Had to replace batteries right out of the box
I like the way the sensors work and have them on my wife and mine clubs. Of the 28 I have new out of the box, 26 paired right up and worked well. 2 however wouldn’t pair up and product support suggested replacing battery. After replacing battery they worked fine. It’s just disappointing that a battery that supposed to be good for 4 years needed replacing right out of the box. As far as functionality, I’d give them a 5 star. At the price paid and not working brand new drops it down to the 3
