Great for beginners!

BUYING A DRONE
First – about drones in general:I cannot recommend DJI products high enough. I have ordered several down thru the years. My big clumsy PHANTOM 3 still, after 15+ years of use, delivers outstanding performance, including high resolution/outstanding color saturation. One of the four batteries I bought new at the time has grown weak……! Not bad after that much time and use!Second – my present purchase. I ordered a FLIP thru Amazon, and it came as represented. I had a very time-consuming initial problem getting the controller/screen to “link” with the FLIP. Reason…..trying to enter the info. on my DJI account, their system kept converting what I was typing in English, into Chine.Thanks to DJI’s excellent customer back-up, by telephone their people were able to get me squared away. BOTTOM LINE – if YOU can get your hands on a DJI drone product, you will be as pleased as I am once you get it operational/”linked” to either your cell-phone or the controller (the more expensve “screen” controller is, in my opinion, well worth the money. You may spend some time on the phone or in chat getting aquared away on the down-loads, but once you get it squared away, guaranteed you will be very VERY satisfied.

Love this drone. Only negative is:It’s loud. So no spying lol. And in strong winds it gets tossed around a bit due to the wind catching the guards. But it’s a great drone.

Amazingly capable and fun drone
Really fun and capable drone for everyday flying and 12 MP pics and 4k videos day or night ! Stable platform for all your videography with the same 4k camera as the DJI Mini 4 Pro. Get the package with the RC2 remote because that is a full-blown computer remote that allows you connectivity to the internet for updates, firmware, drone forums and flight safety checks and info. Once you fly with RC2 you will never go back to using your phone with the app!The Flip is great but has some limitations because of the prop guards/bumpers. It would be a bit slow for FPV hence is not compatible with the DJI FPV goggles. It also struggles in high wind and has a higher pitch blade noise than the Mini 4 pro. The design is really creative and versatile being able to work autonomously without the controller or with a cellphone only. Features are limited in these controllerless modes. Being 249g and with no exposed blades it should qualify for safe flight over people but alas it is lacking an RF ID feature which broadcasts its identity.I bought the DJI flip for its features and design with the prop guards which provides some safety from the blades when having fun with my grandsons. Note fingers can still get into the blades if it is held incorrectly. I do recommend this drone for all around fun and photography

Can’t Even Fly Indoor in No Fly Zone, No Override
Day 1 Review:Cons:1) You need WiFi and phone and installation a custom app direction from the website. Who knows how safe the app is!2) It took a long time to set up the product up, and not very intuitive.3) Both drone and the RC 2 controller was overheating at 79 F4) DJI locks the flight if you are in no fly zone. So I can’t even fly this indoor or check my roof or record my kids playing.5) In cinematic mode: slower speed applies only to forward speed. Lateral and reverse are still on full speed.Pros:1) Craftsman appear to be good. Dropped it once on a hard floor after hitting an obstacle from a about 6 feet. Did not break.2) Video quality looks good.3) Recovery after hitting an obstacle is not bad.

🛸 He tenido, y tengo, DJI desde hace muchos años: Mavic Pro, Mavic Air, Neo y ahora este Flip y sin duda, dentro de los drones de consumo autónomos por debajo de 250g y menos de 450€, es el mejor que he probado hasta ahora.👍🏻 Mejora muchos de los “problemas” del pequeño gran DJI Neo👍🏻 Sistema de plegado muy intuitivo y sencillo.👍🏻 Tamaño ideal para meter en una mochila pequeña, no ocupa nada por su forma alargada y es muy ligero para el tamaño que tiene👍🏻 Cámara increíble, la misma que la del Mini 4 Pro.👍🏻 Mi primera vez con un mando RC 2 y la pantalla se ve increíble y es muchísimo más cómodo que tener que enganchar tu smartphone al mando con un cablecito.👍🏻 Aguanta el viento como un titán y la imagen queda superestable si observar el bamboleo del drone, cosa que con el Neo y viento fuerte, si se notaba bamboleo de la imagen.👍🏻 Me gusta el cambio de diseño ya que parece una nave típica de series y películas del espacio de los años 80/90: Galactica, V, Star Trek, etc.En resumen, muy contento con la compra ya que quería un drone con opciones de autónomo, algo mejor en batería, calidad de imagen y resistencia que el DJI Neo, con el mando RC-2 sin gastarme los 900€ que cuesta el Mini 4 Pro.Muy recomendable, en serio.

O DJI Flip é o melhor drone para principiantes de 2025. A qualidade da camera e o gimbol de 3 eixos justifica a diferença de preço para o Neo.Um pouco ruidoso devido às proteções das hélices, mas depois de subir aos 70m deixa-se de ouvir.A camera é perfeita, e permite fazer uns vídeos espetaculares mesmo à noite.Mais tarde vou comprar um Mavic, mas irei manter sempre o Flip para um tipo de utilização que só o Flip permite, como pôr a mão de fora do carro para o lançar e ficar sentado no carro a controlar o drone. Mesmo dentro do carro chega quase a 1Km com arvores pelo meio. Quando aparecem prédios pelo meio por vezes perde-se o sinal rádio, e rapidamente ele volta para trás e volto a apanha-lo.
