Great value and customer service
Excellent product and service. I was looking for a basic step counter with the ability to take my pulse. This fits the bill and does so much more. The Zepp app is amazing. I ended up being more interested in the sleep readout than the the steps and pulse. A wealth of info for free and even more for a reasonably priced subscription.I had some trouble with the face of the tracker lifting off of the base and Amazfit customer service was friendly and professional, replacing it right away. So impressed that I bought another tracker and a watch for family.

Great product!
I am very happy with this watch. I have previously owned a FitBit so I have been comparing the two. I really like this watch and it’s half the price of a FitBit.There are a lot of settings in the app that you need to make sure to change to fit your needs -how often you want heart rate measured, allow access to contacts, make sure you receive notification of text messages and notifications in any other apps that you want to receive. I just received a notification through Google on my watch about a tornado warning, so that was nice! I have a Google pixel phone and it works well with the watch.A couple of differences I noticed between this and the Fitbit are: constant heart rate tracking – this one tracks on intervals which you can set as you want to (1 min, or 10 mins) whereas the Fitbit tracks constantly. Yeah can also track heart rate on demand with the watch. Also this one tracks calories burned during activity whereas the Fitbit estimates the calories burned throughout the day. However I will say that the Fitbit was always grossly overestimating my calories burned anyway, so that feature was of no value to me. The Fitbit I had would often tell me I burned 2500 calories during the day. I am a 5’3 women, if I based my diet around that and ate 2500 calories I would gain a LOT of weight. I should be eating more like 1700 calories, even on days I exercise. So to me that feature on the Fitbit is not accurate. The band is comfortable and the watch face size is perfect – not too big or small.Battery life seems to be really good. I only lost should 10% of the battery charge throughout the day and I received a lot of notifications.Anyway this is a good quality product at a great price. I personally don’t see much advantage with a FitBit over this and this is half the price. If you aren’t very tech savvy then have someone help you with setting up the app and changing settings etc. to fit your needs.

Great affordable Fitness tracker, but notifications and linking can be annoying.
I’m going to be thorough, but fair. All the praises (and criticisms) they get are totally warranted, and if y’all don’t like that, then update your darn system! I’ll set this up in a question/answer format.Short review? It’s a good cheap alternative device that works if you know how to use it:Long Review (read all so y’all can be fair and judge the device on its EARNED merits):Q: Does it work well?A: Yes. It does a good job counting steps and heart rate, however you need to move your arm for it to register a step. I’ve walked a mile with my hands in my front coat pockets, not shifting my arms, and it registered maybe half of the steps. I suggest gloves and gentle rocking of your arm. I’ve also tried putting the tracker in my pocket or hand it from a belt loop so I can trick it to register steps, but it doesn’t seem to work. So be aware of that. But for a tracker, it does legit work.Q: Is the app/website easy to use?A: Yes and it shows you all your results, HOWEVER!!!! This tracker forces you to download “Zepp” on your phone, which alone isn’t a big deal. Even Fitbit needs an app to work. MY BIGGEST PROBLEM IS HOW THE APP INTERACTS WITH YOUR NOTIFICATIONS! Holy moley. So your tracker wants to be sending signals to your phone through bluetooth ALL the time. This means using data, which means if you’re old and on a limited plan, means even though the data it uses is very small, still adds up when you have other important apps you use. Still, it’s not terrible. Someone with a 3GB plan could still use this every day no problem. But the thing is, I set it so it only sends signals to my Zepp app when I open the app (usually when I set my phone to Wifi to save data), but good ole Zepp DOES NOT LIKE THAT! In fact, it likes it so little, it’ll proceed to SEND A REMINDER ON YOUR PHONE TO SET UP “ALWAYS TRACKING” EVERY 10 MINUTES!!! LITERALLY EVERY 10 MINUTES WHEN I CLEAR A NOTIFICATION, IT’LL JUST SEND ANOTHER ONE! The most ANNOYING AGGRESSIVE insistence of how I use a digital device I’ve ever used. LIKE REALLY DUDE!? LEAVE ME ALONE!!!So I said to myself “Meh, I’ll just turn off notifications through Zepp directly and it’ll stop.” BUT NO! DOING THIS SEEMS TO MAKE ZEPP JUST IGNORE IT AND IT’LL JUST KEEP SENDING A NOTIFICATION!!! OK I KNOW HOW IMPORTANT IT IS TO KEEP MY DEVICE CONNECTED FOR BEST PERFORMANCE! CUT THE CRAP!!!So how do you make it stop? Simple: SHUT OFF NOTIFICATIONS ALL TOGETHER! So now it’ll record on my wrist and store the info internally, then when I open up the Zepp app it’ll take that load of data and upload it all at once. Perfect.Only one thing…..EVERY TIME I NOW OPEN MY ZEPP IT’LL BEG ME TO TURN ON NOTIFICATIONS AGAIN!!! ARE YOU SERIOUS!?!?!? LEAVE ME ALONE WITH THIS!!!! I OBVIOUSLY KNOW WHAT I WANT IT TO DO!!! Well it’s not a big deal to just close the window and use Zepp how I want. Plus in this way, no more notifications Thank the lord!Q: Can I use it with Yazio Fitness App?A: Yes absolutely…BUT…..you have to use it in a round-a-bout way. Yazio communicates with some apps, but not directly with Zepp. And vise versa. BUT…both communicate with Google Fit! So you need to link your Zepp with Google Fit….THEN you need to link your Google Fit with Yazio. Finally when you want to update Yazio with your steps/sleep score/etc, you open Zepp…IGNORE THE ANNOYING NOTIFICATIONS…refresh your Zepp so it downloads the data off your fitness tracker watch. Then, you open Google Fit and refresh it. It’ll take data from Zepp and compile it, updating. Then, you open Yazio and refresh it and it’ll take data off of Google Fit, which has the data from Zepp updated. This whole process takes maybe 30 seconds max if you do one after another, and you’ll get use to it. Now your Yazio has your steps and it’ll help you count calories or whatever. Great. Plus Google Fit is free and up-to-date and supported by everyone. Is it annoying to have to do this? Yeah sure I guess, but it works, and it uses only a little data. You’re welcome, I suffered to figure this out so you don’t have to.Q: Is the battery life good on the watch?A: Not only is the battery life GREAT, but it also charges super fast. Impressively fast! You can charge it in a manner of 20-30 minutes from 0 to 100%, and that 100% charge will last you 1-2 weeks of constant use. Pretty great. Super happy with this.Q: Is the watch interface easy to use?A: Yes, but it’s super simple. I will note that if you shower with it (you can safely do this), it will sometimes respond to the water droplets, but it’s not a big deal it won’t go screen to screen and activate things as if you were using your fingers. Not really a problem.Q: What about customizable screens on the watch?A: The website actually offers a lot of free and simple options…HOWEVER…it also has some which you need to PAY to use, which is crazy. So just be careful which interface screen setup you use.Q: Is it sturdy?A: So far it takes a lot of damage, and seems to be doing well. It has MANY holes in its wrist, which allows for lots of sizing. Too tight? Go down one or two and it’ll fit perfectly. My only mild, very mild, gripe is if you get the lip of the wristband caught on some stuff, it might unlatch it. however, even if it comes fully undone, the end will catch on the latch of the watch, and keep it from just straight up falling off. Wear it with a longsleeve shirt will endure you’ll probably never lose it.Suggestion: Look in to buying a small cheap plastic screen protector. Something you can put over to protect the screen from scratches. It has a “sensitivity” option that’ll let you use it through a screen, which is nice. Otherwise if you don’t care about dings on this affordable watch, and it’s all function, then go for it.Q: What about sleep mode?A: It’s pretty good, but it kinda thinks I’m still asleep sometimes when I’m lazing around my bed on Facebook before I wake up. No biggie. It DOES do a GREAT job at detecting REM, Light, or Deep sleep, though. So that’s nice. I know it does this, because I had a Fitbit once, and the results from then and now are practically consistent.Overall: This is a great fitness tracker FOR THE PRICE! Although some aspects of it can be annoying (Zepp y’all BETTER fix that annoying notification bull REAL FAST), there are work arounds. Furthermore, the ability to INDIRECTLY link to apps like Yazio or MyFitnessPal through Google Fit makes it at the very least functionable. I’m happy with it.Would I suggest it to others? Well I am now…..so long as they know what they’re getting themselves in to! Learn from my mistakes, and make the most out of an affordable functionable, and non (physically) intrusive device to help you become a better you. Thanks, but fix the few issues I mentioned above.

Nice watch and functionalities, app a bit hard to read and metrics not always 100% accurate but enough to avoid other brands with subscriptions

It’s not as fully featured as an Apple Watch, but it tracks my sleep better. Plus it needs to be charged only about once a week, which allows for more consistent sleep/health tracking too (ie. not worrying about having to charge it daily like Apple Watch)
