It’s a Night and Day Difference
I have tried multiple security cameras with not so satisfactory success. In daylight hours, pictures are great. At night, not so much. For nighttime pictures, this camera blows them all out of the water.This camera was so easy to set up. The app on my phone picked it up immediately. The rest of the settings, I’m still learning. You can choose between high definition and standard definition. I didn’t find much difference in picture quality, so I leave it on high definition. I am still learning about all of the features.I just got this set up looking at the area just outside my apartment door. I have it set to detect humans only. I have a number of feral cats that live outside. So far, the camera has not sent a notification when the camera picks up the cats. No humans have ventured in the range of the camera, so far.UPDATE: I had to add another picture. Again, it’s dark, and this camera makes it almost look like daylight. Overnight we received a few inches of snow, and the camera makes it almost look beautiful.I have to say, the magnet is powerful. You apply a magnetic sticker to the window, and then attach the camer. There is no way the camera will let loose on its own. I guess, my only complaint is that there is no way to “tilt” the camera up or down. It is stuck on one view.Below, you will see a picture of the camera attached to the window. The second picture is a name brand camera you hear about all the time. The last picture is from this camera. The two pictures were taken within a few seconds of each other. You will see that the third picture almost looks like it was taken during daylight hours. Both pictures were taken at about 7:50 PM, when it was quite dark. You can see the stark difference.Tonight, I am watching for the winter storm warning that has been declared for my area. With the fantastic night vision this camera has, I can see that no flakes of snow have fallen yet.

An inexpensive security camera with some limitations.
This is a decent security camera for the price, but it has it’s limitations.Pros:- easy to set up.- the adhesive magnet that it comes with sticks to a window well, and holds the camera firmly- the app (I’m using Android) works well after you figure out what page/menu things are in- the camera/app do well to capture Motion Detected- the local storage works well and doesn’t take up much room. I’m using a 64GB card and it’s only used 5GB over the last week.Cons:- this camera only works over 2.4GHz wifi. Our internet service is only DSL, and combined with the 2.4GHz limitation of the camera, playback of video is poor. It’ll play 2-3 seconds of video, then pause for 3-4 seconds, then play the next 2-3 seconds of video, etc. Very frustrating.- the claims about the night vision in color is a complete fabrication. The videos and pictures at night are black, if there’s not a lot of good light from lamps or floodlights. Even the picture they show in the product description has been photo-shopped. In the “night” picture they erased the sun shadows of the trees, but left the ones of the houses. They also erased a whole tree that was in the “daytime” picture. DO NOT buy this for night time capability.- quality of the photos and video is only fair.

Nice outside view from inside protection. Connected right away and was easy to setup.
The camera came with everything needed to mount it, even two metal rings. It has an exceptionally long cord so you won’t need to hunt down a close outlet or get an extension cord just for this.I saw the app listed on the directions also worked with another app I’m currently using and once I opened it and hit the +button it found it right away so I won’t have to use multiple camera apps! That was a pretty nice surprise.The camera connected and was running right away with a fairly decent picture and video. I’d say it’s comparable to other cameras I have in the same price point. I like that it mounts inside so it’s out of the weather and away from vandals. It read and formatted the 32g memory card I put in and I selected always record option however it has may ways in which it can trigger such as sound, motion in general, vehicle.Cleaning the window I stuck the metal ring where I wanted it and it stuck perfectly. It’s quite a strong tape. The camera stuck right to it like our phones on magbases and it stuck very securely to its magnetic base. This is a great camera to add on to an existing system or to have watch a single spot. I don’t see why I can’t take it camping with me and stick it in my RV looking out from the entry door connected to my Starlink too. Probably just get a few for just that. Very well worth the money. The only question is how loud is the night mode when it switches over and doesn’t do it constantly during dusk/dawn; will try to update that when I see it in action.

Set up complete in less than 5 minutes
This is by far the easiest and quickest set up I’ve ever completed with a camera. I sure hope to get more of these. I got this for my elderly mother who’s not capable of maintaining an outside camera. The fact I was able to set it up in less than 5 minutes is so good. You just connect to the WiFi, wipe off your window where you plan to place the camera and stick it in place. The picture is crystal clear especially at night. My mom had a light that stays on all night that’s directly in front of the camera. We can’t change that so it blocks some of the view in the screen. But even with that, she can see her car and anyone approaching her house in the comfort of her home. She simply opens the app and she can watch from her cell phone. My recommendation is to make sure you are not placing this camera directly in front of a bright light so as to not block any of your view. This is an excellent value just based on set up and clarity alone.Update: 12/1/25- ok y’all, these cameras were such a hit that I ended up purchasing a total of 4 more. I’m adding more pictures. I played with the settings some more and added an Micro sd card in the slot and now it’s live 24/7 and I turned on the motion alerts and it captures what was happened with every alert. You can even adjust the sensitivity of the sound or motion alerts. I watch my mom’s kitten by her heated cat house. AWESOME, and I’m in another city.
