very versitile, awesome accessory! I keep finding ways to use it
I’m really impressed with this portable monitor! The nearly 16-inch screen is a great size — large enough to comfortably get work done but still very portable. I love that I can connect it directly to my Samsung phone via the USB-C port and instantly use DeX mode. It basically turns my phone into a mini computer, which is incredibly convenient when I’m traveling or working away from my desk.It also works perfectly as an extended display for my MacBook, which makes multitasking so much easier. The lightweight design is one of the best parts — it’s super easy to carry around without adding bulk to my bag.If I had one minor wish, it would be for the screen to be a bit brighter and sharper, but honestly, at this price point it performs way above expectations. Overall, this is a fantastic portable monitor and a great buy for anyone looking to add flexibility to their setup! I made this video after writing this

Not sure how long it will last because I just purchased it. But it’s a very nice monitor. Especially for the price. About the site of a full size laptop monitor only slim and light weight. Only wish they would add a case to protect it when not using it. Works and looks great though!

For the price, this Yxk 15.6″ portable monitor is a solid deal. It’s lightweight, slim, and very travel-friendly — perfect for extra screen space when I’m working on spreadsheets, coding, or multitasking away from my main desk setup. Connection with USB-C or HDMI is straightforward, and the display is clear enough for productivity tasks, text editing, and light browsing.That said — don’t expect cinematic quality. Colors and brightness are a bit underwhelming for movies or gaming. Videos look okay for quick clips, but for long sessions or anything dependent on strong visuals, this monitor feels cheap.Bottom line: If you need a budget-friendly travel monitor for work, emails, or quick on-the-go tasks, it’s worth it. But if media quality matters, consider something higher-end.

Using with an S25 Ultra and Samsung Dex, works great and is very portable.
Ordered while it was discounted, and according to the description it seemed to be what I wanted. Now that I’ve gotten the monitor, a few questions were answered. I’ll share them here: The monitor has 2 USB-C ports, both support power delivery and video/audio. It has a single mini HDMI. It comes with a full featured USB-C cable (It will carry power, video and audio; normal charging cables do not) and an HDMI to mini-HDMI cable. I have this monitor hooked up to my S25 Ultra so it shows Samsung Dex mode. The chain goes from my power brick, through a regular USB-C power cable to one of the USB-C ports on the monitor, and the other USB-C port to my phone using the included full featured cable. This setup not only provides power to the monitor but my phone as well, while simultaneously showing the DeX output from the phone to the monitor. Add in a bluetooth mouse and keyboard and I’ve got a full laptop experience. It does have speakers on the back of the monitor, and my phone also plays audio, if I’m watching a video. It’s perfectly synchronized and the speakers complement each other for great volume and clarity. The monitor itself is very lightweight and definitely bright enough for indoor use with the default brightness at 70 and default contrast at 50. I’ve not seen any reason to change it. I watched Star Trek: Into Darkness via Paramount Plus via my phone, as it has great scenes with bright colors and fast movement, and was impressed. Viewing angle is clear and distortion free even when looking from the very edge, proving it’s a quality IPS panel. The description does state HDR compatibility, and the option is there in the on-screen controls, but I don’t know to what standard it is compliant with. For the price, you can’t expect much in the way of HDR. But as a general portable monitor, I’m quite happy with it. Oh, and no dead pixels, that is important to note also.

probably exactly what you’re hoping for
This is a beautiful monitor with easy controls, easier setup, and even surprisingly good speakers. I needed a quick monitor solution when I was first setting up my PC and the big monitor hadn’t arrived yet, and I got a perfect size, perfect functionality, and the pleasant surprise of excellent, rich color range for the couple days that I was playing my video games on it. The only time it ever flickers on me is if its outlet connection is changed or disrupted, and I’ve had it for months now. Highly recommend.

Bang for your buck!
This thing is undestructable! I have now had mine for just shy of a year and I have zero complaints. I carry it in my work bag 90% of the time and it get thrown around and have never had any issues with the quality, screen going out, or it breaking. It is light to carry, practical, and makes working from home, coffee shops, or anywhere else a breeze. For this price, I always recommend!I do not game and have only used this for work (excel, email, googling, etc), so can only speak on using it for working fuctions.

Great for on the go gaming or as a second screen for laptop or phone
This is a great little screen for the price! Comes with a double ended USB Type C data cable and an HDMI to Mini HDMI cable. The controls had a bit of time for me to figure out and the speakers aren’t that great but it does have a 3.5 mm headphone/aux jack. It’s full 1080p and the screen looks great. Highly recommend for gaming (I use for my PS5) or hooking up your phone if you have something like Samsung Dex. Very portable and can fir in my 15″ laptop sleeve. Very lightweight as well.

Bought this item as a similarly affordable alternative to another portable monitor. Th first of which failed within a month of purchase. In less than 10 days, this product similarly failed, and in the middle of the workday resulted in a total blackout and loss of function. Following all of the logical troubleshooting, this product remained completely dead. Just gone from one second to the next. Regrettably disappointing, as I genuinely appreciate the concept and its practicality for individuals who often work remotely. However, I regrettably have to report the reliability of this product is terrible and I recommend you find an alternative from a brand with a longer standing and more positive reputation in reliability.
