Contrary to the negative reviews about the hard disk not working with an iphone I have to say this thing works brilliantly. you can record directly on to it using the prores codec even at 4k 120 fps. I’m using an iphone 16 pro max. You can also transfer files into it from your phone. It’s fast, zero waiting to finish up writing onto the disk. The size is nice and small. The price isn’t too bad either.

Exactly what I needed, FINALLY i can record ProRes
Been planning a month-long trip across Asia (4 countries in 4 weeks), and I knew I had to pack smart. Will be leaving the mirrorless and lenses behind—just bringing my iPhone, iPad, and GoPro this time.I’m finally recording in ProRes 4K60 and editing directly from the drive. No transferring. No shuffling files around. Just plug it in and go—because the footage is saved directly to the DRIVE! It’s already there, so convenient!I’m able to get around 72 minutes of ProRes footage, which is more than enough for my daily travel vlogging. The included cable is solid—not one of those cheap, dinky ones. And THANK YOU for not throwing in three random cables I’ll never use. The one they include works great with both my iPhone Pro Max and iPad Pro.Bonus: the magnetic ring is a nice touch—I’m using it with my iPad. And the SSD tucks perfectly into the folds of my folio case. Feels like it was made for this kind of setup. If you’re a mobile creator or minimalist traveler, this is 100% worth it.

Ha cumplido con las espectativas de almacenamiento en mi iPhone 15 ProMax para grabar en ProRes Log, en cuanto al MagSafe se falta mayor adherencia con el aro magnético, lo uso en el iPad con Davinci Resolve y ha sido bueno el desempeño

Not compatible with new iPhones due to app compatibility
Will not connect with my iPhone 17 pro max. I have contacted their customer service and they are no help. Seems like it’s an app issue. It connected briefly to my phone through the memory zone app but only happened once. It connects with no issues with my computer… don’t advertise it as a creator ssd if you can’t get it to work right from the get- go.

Está bien padre el diseño. Muy práctico para transportarlo y guardarlo. Me gusta que tiene MagSafe para que lo te preocupes de dónde ponerlo. Al conectárselo al iPhone inmediatamente aparece la app de Sandisk, ahí mismo puedes hacer la copia de seguridad de toda tu información sin necesidad de hacerlo manual. A parte te da un mes gratis en Adobe Creative.
